" Following a very worrying time with my sister who suffers with Downs Syndrome and acute behavioural problems, a prolonged period of depression and worsening behaviour resulted in her removal from a local residential care facility to a specialised hospital for treatment.
The local care facility refused to accept her return to their care despite her wish to return having been there for the past 25 years. Being her only remaining family member I was faced with the unenviable task of finding another care place.
The warmth and empathy I received from Moore Care was like a great weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I visited the intended placing at Manchester Road and was allowed spontaneous visits which I still make on a regular basis.
I knew right from the start, now 4 years, that this was the right place.
My sister was in a very dark place 4 years ago, but with Moore Care’s guidance and support she has now come through that and her quality of life is much improved.
